Hamilton Relay Awards $500 Scholarship

Hamilton Relay recently established a $500 scholarship program for a qualifying Maryland high school graduate. Hamilton wanted an opportunity to give back to the community by offering this award to a young individual who is deaf, hard of hearing, or speech disabled, in support of his or her post-secondary education. The Hamilton State Scholarship Committee collected numerous applications and commends all of the applicants for their effort and hard work in submitting the required information. The winner of the $500 Maryland scholarship was recently selected and the award went to Tiffany Bridgett, a senior at Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick, Maryland. Maryland Relay Outreach Coordinator Sudan Khan presented the award to Tiffany at Maryland School for the Deaf's Honors and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, June 3, 2010. Congratulations, Tiffany!
